Passage: Judges 8:1-35

Series Information

People worry.  It is part of our nature to be fearful and concerned about things that have not yet happened, and with things that are out of our control.   We often go to the worst-case scenario. Worry, left unaddressed, turns to fear.  Fear is paralyzing and is not of God.  Fear can be all consuming and cause us to act in ways that are opposite of what God intends of followers of Jesus. Obedience does not lead us to control.  Gideon's call begins with his worry, concerns and fear.  We will look at the character of Gideon as he moves from worry to worship.
