JESUS + NOTHING

Hosea: Return

A book that will call us out, puts a spotlight on our all too frequent indifference, flippancy, rebellion, pragmatism, and more, before our God. A book that will summon us to ‘repent’ ro ‘return’. But, or to use another wonderful three letter word in Hosea, ‘yet’, a book that more than anything will show us the heart of God for struggling saints that sometimes are better at sinning than sainting.

Taming The Tongue

While our words can change someone’s life for the better, they can also destroy
relationships, break hearts, and discourage others. We are called to build one another
up. To be slow to anger and quick to listen. Grudges, rage and anger get us nowhere in
life, so we turn our tongues over to the power of the Holy Spirit.. What does the Bible
say about showing compassion and kindness? And especially loving and forgiving
others? In this series, we will address the serious issues of anger, bullying and even
marital conflict, and by God’s grace, learn to tame our tongues.

With Us

We were designed and created for the community.  With God and with each other. God models the importance of presence, by coming to be with us.  There is a common desire among all people to be known, accepted and loved.  Jesus offers that to each and every one of us. He chose to be with us, even at times when no one else does.

Two Paths

We will look at John 3 and 4, compare and contrast Nicodemus (John 3) and the Samaritan Woman (John 4) at the well.

Every major decision of our life is impacted by what we choose to do with Jesus.  In John chapters 3 and 4, we see two different characters from different backgrounds, who are each given an opportunity to respond to who Jesus is.  Their responses may surprise you.  Is He is Lord and Savior, or is He just another good person with good advice?  Are we a follower or a fan?  Who do you say He is?  We all must make a decision on what to do with Jesus.  As a Church, our goal is to give everyone the opportunity to say "Yes" to Jesus!

SENT: The Movement

The church is the greatest movement the world has ever known. As she shares the gospel, the church is the hope of the world. The church is active, moving and is on the offense, and the gates of hell can’t stand against it. God has invited us as a church, and you as an individual to play a part in the mission. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to be SENT.

Jesus In Genesis

There is only one creator, and He is worthy of our worship.  No other God.  Everything has a beginning. Including you.  The purpose of Genesis is a foreshadowing of the gospel.  Thousands of years before the name of Jesus is ever spoken.
